Welcome to the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. Located on the southern part of the island, this valley and its green mountains echo with art and history. The region is home to the band government of the Cowichan Tribes, the largest First Nations band in British Columbia. The city of Duncan has an impressive collection of indigenous art, including intricate carvings and paintings. While you’re in town, you must visit the collection of totem poles, which are towering symbols of indigenous history, depicting ancestral legends and clan symbols.

The Cowichan Valley is also celebrated for its flourishing wine, cider and brewery scenes. The region's moderate climate and fertile soil create ideal conditions for vineyards and orchards. Visitors can explore these vineyards and sample locally crafted beverages. Before you leave, you might want to pick up a Siwash sweater knitted by members of the Cowichan Tribes.

دریاچه پراگسر ویلدز

دریاچه پراگسر ویلدز مسحور شده در میان کوهای تا آسمان برفراشته جای در دولومیت، ایتالیا.

این دریاچه زیبا در ارتفاع 1469 متری از سطح دریا و حداکثر عمق 36 متری میان کوه ها احاطه شده.در طول زمستان،  پراگسر ویلدز با پوشاندن یخ و برف روی سطح آن به چشم‌اندازی مسحورکننده تبدیل می‌شود، در حالی که در تابستان، کوهنوردان را به ماجراجویی دعوت می‌کند.

The Pragser Wildsee in the Dolomites, Italy

In every season, Pragser Wildsee enchants travellers with its ever-changing allure. The lake, also known as Lago di Braies, is nestled in the Italian Dolomites in Fanes Senes Braies Nature Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This enchanting lake is surrounded by mountains, with an elevation of 1,469 metres above sea level and boasting a maximum depth of 36 metres. During winter, Pragser Wildsee transforms into a mesmerising vision as ice and snow blanket its surface, while in summer, it beckons hikers to embark on adventures, with rowboats available for those who wish to get out on the water.

کوه زیبای هود پوشیده از برف دورنمای زیبای به طبیعت اورگان بخشده.این آتشفشان با ارتفاع نزدیک به 3430 متر بلندترین کوه ایالت اورگان است.کوه هود با 12 یخچال طبیعی و مناطق برفی متعدد منطقه زمستانی را در تمام طول سال دارا میباشد.فراتر از جذابیت برف  اکوسیستم های متنوعی را هم حفظ میکند.جنگل های کهن رو زنده نگه میدارد و به عنوان پناهگاهی برای حیاط وحش از جمله گرگ ها ایجاد میکند.در طول 1800 سال گذشته این آتشفشان 3 بار فوران کرده و به گفته زمین شناسان این کوه در درجه کوهای آتشفشانی آرام میباشد. اما هنوز هم احتمال فوران آن وجود دارد.

With 12 named glaciers and numerous snow fields, Mount Hood offers a wintry playground all year round. Beyond its snow-laden allure, it sustains diverse ecosystems, nurturing ancient forests and serving as a haven for wildlife, including cougars and wolves. Over the past 1,800 years, the volcano has erupted three times. According to geologists, the mountain is primarily dormant, but there is still a chance that it could erupt one day.

فانوس یخ زده

Sassnitz lighthouse, Germany

This winter wonderland is Rügen, Germany's largest island. From the iconic chalk cliffs of Jasmund National Park to sandy beaches, the island provides a diverse landscape for nature enthusiasts to revel in. Many artists have come here in the past to give free rein to their creativity. The chalk cliffs inspired one of Germany's most famous painters—Caspar David Friedrich. Pictured here is Sassnitz lighthouse, a maritime beacon that has guided sailors through the Baltic Sea since its establishment in 1905. Though ice may be covering the shore, the lighthouse still stands, frozen as over, shining a light for ships to sail by.

Macaroni penguins

How many kinds of penguins can you name? Today's snapshot features agile macaroni penguins swimming in the plankton-rich waters of the Drake Passage in Chile. These charming creatures are just one of 18 different species of penguin found in the Southern Hemisphere and can be recognised by their peculiar amber crests and prominent orange beak. Macaroni penguins gather in foraging groups, but males can be aggressive towards each other. To show passivity and avoid a fight, individuals often ease through colonies with their heads tucked down to their chests. Despite being beloved by us humans, penguins are threatened by reduced food availability, errant fishing nets and the profound impact of climate change on their habitat, sea ice.

آلپ باواریا--این نام در معنای وسع تر به آن قسمت از آلپ شرقی اشاره دارد که در قلمرو ایالت باواریا قرار دارد.

The crisp winter air settles above the snow-covered mountain landscape of the Bavarian Alps, located in Germany's southern region and continuing across the border into Austria. Its snowy peaks are reflected in the smooth mirror of the frozen lake, giving the impression of harmonious silence and tranquility—which might be interrupted by the soft crunch of the snow under the footsteps of hikers or travellers. Today, Southern Bavaria has become a well-known destination for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.

دریاچه زیبای لوئیز در پارک ملی بنف در آلبرتای کانادا.

در میان رشته کوه های راکی در کانادا دریاچه زیبا ست که چه در زمستان و چه در تابستان به قدری منظره زیبا و چم نوازی دارد که پذیرای بسیاری گردشگر است.

نامی که اقوام بومی ناکودا بر این دریاچه گذاشته اند دریاچه ماهی های کوچک است که در طی گذر سال ها و با ورود مهاجران به کانادا نام پرنسس لوئیز از خانواده ای بریتانیای نامگذاری شد.

Lake Louise, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada

Glimmering in aquamarine tones, Lake Louise rests amid the Canadian Rockies in Alberta's Banff National Park. The Indigenous Nakoda people refer to the lake as Ho-run-num-nay, meaning 'lake of the little fishes.' The lake was later named by settlers for the British royal family's Princess Louise, along with the adjoining town, which has the highest elevation of any Canadian town at almost 1,586 metres. This glacial lake is accessible throughout the year via the Trans-Canada Highway, and visitors can participate in activities like hiking during the summer and skiing in the winter.

وقتشه کفشهای پیاده روی رو بپوشی بری پارک کپرفالز در ویسکانسین. از یه مسیر بیست و هفت کیلومتری در امتداد رودخانه تا آبشار ها و جریان های گذره باستانی. 

شگفتی های زیادی در مسیر کوهستانی ناهموار، عبور از جنگل آرام، قدم زدن در کنار اقیانوس، همیشه مسیری در انتظار ماست.

حلقه آتش خورشید گرفتگی

خورشید گرفتگی هم راستایی خورشید زمین و ماه است که زمین را از زیر سایه خود عبور میدهد.

چرا خورشید گرفتگی حلقوی پدیه ای متفاوت است؟

در طول خسوف ماه به دلیل مدار بیضی شکلش در دور ترین فاصله از زمین قرار دارد و به همین دلیل ماه کوچکتر به نظر میرسد و به درخشش خورشید اجازه میده از آن عبور کند و ها له ای ایجاد میکند که به آن حلقه آتش گفته میشود.

Ring of fire' solar eclipse

A solar eclipse is nothing more than an alignment of the sun, Earth and moon that has the Earth passing through the moon's shadow. But why is an annular solar eclipse different? During this eclipse, the moon is the farthest from the Earth because of its elliptical orbit. Because of this, it appears smaller, letting the sun's brilliance peek through and create a halo—the 'ring of fire'. If you are ever fortunate enough to see this cosmic show, please be cautious. Viewers should not look directly at the Sun without specialised eye protection.

"coyote gulch" در منطقه تفریحی ملی "گلن کانیان" در یوتا ایالات متحده آمریکا.

درخت پنبه ای با برگ های زرد و طلای در استتار صخره های زرد و قرمز پناه گرفته 

منطقه تفریحی ملی گلن کانیان یک شگفتی طبیعی خیره کننده که بیش از پنج هزار کیلومتر مربع از مناظر متنوع را در بر میگیرد.این منطقه که در اطراف مخزنی تشکیل شده توسط سد گلن کانیان در رودخانه کلرادو قرار دارد دارای صخره های قرمز خیره کننده در دره های عمیق و آب های درخشان است.

Coyote Gulch- کایوت گلیج  شاخه ای از رودخانه اسکالانته در شهرستان های گارفیلد و کین در جنوب یوتا در غرب ایالات متحده آمریکا واقع شده.

Glen Canyon-دره ای عمیق و باریک در منطقه صخره های شگرف به رنگ قرمز واقع در جنوب شرقی و جنوب مرکزی یوتا.

دلیل قرمز بودن صخرهای قرمز و جود آب اکسیده شده و سایر مایعات و مواد معدنی پر از آهن به رنگ قرمز مایل به نارنجی در آمده.

Coyote Gulch, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Utah, USA

Camouflaged in beautiful colours, the cottonwood tree in today's image might be playing peek-a-boo among the red sandstones of Coyote Gulch. Located in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in southern Utah, the canyon is painted reddish-orange by the presence of oxidising water and other fluids, and iron-filled minerals.

Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is a stunning natural wonder that encompasses over 5,000 square kilometres of diverse landscapes. Centred around the reservoir formed by the Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River, this area boasts breathtaking red rock formations, deep canyons and shimmering waters.
